Great for one student in a regular classroom or an entire ELL program, this kit aligns with current scientific research on how children acquire English language skills and is based on feedback from ELL instructors. Large, 4-color themed illustrations and photos form the foundation of each lesson and allow you to teach vocabulary and pronunciation concepts. Lessons, which can be tailored to a whole class, small group, or individual needs, encourage development of oral language skills by requiring students to listen, speak, read and write. Related Activity Cards provide additional practice and include take-home exercises that integrate family and culture. Can be used alone for students with very low English language levels or along with the Beginning Phonics for English Language Learners (LER7030). Even if you've had no training in ELL you can use this kit to teach survival English Language skills.
